Q. What is Looking Glass and what do you do?
A. Looking Glass is a multi-service, private nonprofit organization whose mission is to build a better future for youth and families by helping them navigate the challenges of childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood.

A. We currently have 11 different programs offering a variety of services. For more information please click here.

Q. What geographic areas does Looking Glass serve?
A. Each of our programs has its own separate location with most offices being located in the Eugene/Springfield area. Our Counseling and Adolescent Recovery programs also have offices located throughout Lane County.

Q. Who can use your services?
A. Looking Glass clients range in age from 2 to 24. Each program has different eligibility requirements for clients based on its funding sources.

Q. If I need immediate help where can I turn?
A. We offer a 24-hour information and help line for youth and families in crisis. Please call (541) 689-3111.

Q. How is Looking Glass Funded?
A. Looking Glass has a diversity of funding sources that makes for a fiscally strong organization. Agency revenues come from governmental contracts and grants, charitable gifts, United Way, and fees for service.

Q. What percentage of the agency's expenses are related to administration and fundraising?
A. Administrative and fundraising expenses average 13% of the agency's total expenses, which is considered low for nonprofit organizations.

Q. How many employees does Looking Glass have?
A. We have approximately 250 paid employees, including over 100 volunteers at any given time.
