Counseling Services

Children, youth and families with mental health issues can make positive changes in their lives through individual, group and family therapy. Youth with substance abuse problems learn to lead healthy, drug-free lives through prevention and treatment services. Services are provided throughout Lane County.

Counseling Program - Outpatient mental health treatment for children, youth, adults and families. Services are provided at locations throughout Lane County. Call (541) 484-4428.

Adolescent Recovery Program - Outpatient substance abuse prevention and treatment for youth ages, 20 and under, and their families. Services are provided at locations throughout Lane County. Call (541) 484-4428.

 

Runaway & Homeless Services

Runaway and homeless youth exposed to perilous situations on the "streets" find safety and assistance through crisis counseling and emergency shelter. These services help youth get their lives back on track and provide the chance to reunite with their families. Older homeless youth without families can prepare to live on their own. Services offered include housing assistance, education and basic life skills training.

Station 7 Program - 24-hour crisis intervention, family reconciliation and emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth, ages 11-17. Call (541) 689-3111.

Education & Vocational Services

Youth who have experienced difficultly in public school can earn classroom credit, prepare for GEDs and obtain their High School Diplomas through Looking Glass program schools. Students typically excel in the small classroom setting with one-on-one attention and an individualized curriculum. Older youth prepare for the world of work through career exploration and vocational training programs that offer paid work experience and specialized occupational training.

Riverfront School & Career Center - An accredited alternative school offering education and vocational training for out-of-school youth, ages 14-21. Call (541) 302-2554.

Center Point School - Academic and therapeutic services for youth with mental health issues, ages 11 to 17. No direct referrals.


Residential Services

Sometimes the seriousness of a youth's problems require an out of home placement. Looking Glass offers specialized treatment programs that deal with delinquency, addiction and mental health issues. Residential services are available for both males and females, using treatment models tailored to meet their specific needs. The youth live in a structured group environment and receive counseling, education, life skills training and therapeutic recreation services.

Pathways Boys Program - Alcohol and drug treatment for Lane County male juvenile offenders, ages 12 to 18. No direct referrals.

Pathways Girls Program - Mental Health and alcohol and drug treatment services for female juvenile offenders, ages 15 to 18. No direct referrals.

Stepping Stone Program - Long-term treatment for male juvenile offenders, ages 12 to 18, in a structured group living environment. No direct referrals.
