Counseling Program

 

The Looking Glass Counseling Program has provided outpatient counseling to Lane County youth and families since 1980. We assist children, youth and adults in improving their relationships and making beneficial changes in their lives. Looking Glass therapists help families address issues such as:

Family conflict
Grief and loss
Physical and sexual abuse
Teen adjustment to parenthood
Anger management
Self-destructive behaviors
Depression
Emotional problems
Divorce / step-family
Adjustment problems
Delinquency
Socialization
Domestic violence
ADD / ADHD
Behavior problems
Anxiety, stress
School problems
Sexual offending
Self-esteem issues


Program Services:
Outpatient counseling services are individually tailored to meet each clients' needs. Treatment recommendations are based on an assessment of individual and family dynamics. When appropriate, a Brief Therapy approach that involves the whole family is used. Treatment may involve:

Family therapy
Group therapy
Consultation with other professionals
Individual therapy
Individual & group skill building
Case Management

Fees:
Medical cards and most private health insurance are accepted. We also offer a sliding-fee scale. Limited grant funding is available for clients who qualify.

Call (541) 484-4428 or 1-800-221-9285 and speak to our Referral Coordinator, or stop by our office at 20 E. 13th Avenue in Eugene. Appointments can usually be scheduled within 48 hours.
