Stepping Stone Program

The Looking Glass Stepping Stone Program is a community based residential treatment program for young men, ages 12-18, who demonstrate a persistent pattern of community crimes. The boys in our program typically have a history of family conflict and problems with chronic delinquency, substance abuse, and poor school performance. We accept youth from all parts of the state, with priority given to Lane County residents.

The program includes individual, family, and group counseling as well as individual and group skills training. Most youth stay an average of 10 to 14 months before graduating from the program to their home, foster care, or other community living. Our goal is to help youth develop the skills and behaviors that they need to return to their communities and become productive law-abiding citizens.
