From the Village People to Country Music Hall of Fame, the 6th Annual Celebrity Waiter fundraiser made for an exciting and fun evening for all who attended. The event was held at the Valley River Inn on March 4th with Rick Dancer as the Master of Ceremony. Local “personalities” served as waiters for the evening and danced, sang and entertained their costumed guests in return for tips. More than $92,000 was raised during the evening through tips, and a silent and oral auction. Proceeds will benefit Looking Glass by providing Lane County youth and families services such as temporary shelter, counseling, alternative education, family reconciliation and many other important services. Looking Glass would like to thank all of the Celebrity Waiters, guests, volunteers and supporters who made Celebrity Waiter à la Carte a huge success!
