Most Asked Question: What is Looking Glass and what do you do?
Looking Glass is a multi-service, private nonprofit organization whose mission is to build a better future for youth and families by helping them navigate the challenges of childhood, adolescence and young adulthood.
   
Where is Looking Glass located?
Each of our programs has its own separate location. Most are located in the Eugene/Springfield area. Our Counseling and Adolescent Recovery programs also have offices located throughout Lane County.
   
How many programs does Looking Glass have?
We currently have ten programs that primarily serve Lane County residents.
   
Who can use your services?
Looking Glass clients range in age from 2 to 24. Each program has different eligibility requirements for clients based on its funding sources.
   
If I need immediate help for my child where can I turn to?
We offer a 24-hour information and help line for youth and families in crisis. Please call (541) 689-3111, or out of area, call toll free (888) 689-3111.
   
How is Looking Glass funded?
Looking Glass has a diversity of funding sources that makes for a fiscally strong organization. Agency revenues come from governmental contracts and grants, charitable gifts, United Way, and fees for services.
   
What percentage of the agency’s expenses are related to administration and fundraising?
Administrative and fundraising expenses average 11% of the agency’s total expenses, which is considered low for nonprofit organizations.
   
How many employees does Looking Glass have?

We have approximately 220 paid employees, including 100 volunteers at any given time.
