A Typical Day at Station 7

Station 7 is an old fire station that is now a safe haven for youth in need of a place to stay.

Youth are eligible for an initial 21-night stay and work closely with staff to accomplish goals that are set upon intake.  Each stay looks different for our clients but one thing that Station 7 staff remains committed to is reconciling a young person back into a stable setting.

Youth are asked to participate in chores, meals, house-meetings, and the overall safety of other clients staying at the shelter.

If a youth decides to not use the overnight service they are still eligible to come in during the day for a basic needs appointment in which they can shower, do laundry, grab a meal, use the phone, use a computer or use advocacy services provided.
