Holiday Project:
Beginning in late October, Looking Glass employees and volunteers begin working with a number of generous local community organizations and businesses to coordinate the annual Looking Glass Holiday Project. We count on community giving each year to help deliver holiday cheer to the many youth who turn to us for help. Several of our programs are residential treatment facilities where youth will spend the holidays away from their families. Other youth don't have loving families and will spend the holidays alone or on the street. For most of the kids we serve, the gift received through a community giving tree or other giving program will be the only gift they receive.
How Can You Help?
Adventure Fest:
This is our annual spring fundraiser. We host a unique, themed event including a cocktail hour, dinner, entertainment and an auction. There are a million details that have to be managed and tons of small projects that can always use a hand. From assisting with mailings to helping create decorations, we need help. This is a great opportunity to give only a little time and yet have a big impact. The proceeds benefit Lane County teens and children in crisis.
