“Braugust” Bra and Undergarment Donation Drive for homeless youth (all genders)
“Often times it is the little things, like underwear, socks, and bras that are most impactful for our guests accessing services. Clean, basic needs items and under garments are the type of things many of us who have safe and stable housing take for granted. However, the ability to take a shower and put on clean underwear that fits and is in good shape has such a profound influence on the comfort and confidence of our guests, making all of the other barriers they face throughout the day just that much easier to navigate.”
2nd Annual “Braugust” Bra and Undergerment Drive! Last year’s drive brought in tons of bras and undergarments for all genders!
Looking Glass is once again requesting donations of new and gently used (clean) bras and underwear for homeless youth (all genders). Donations can be dropped off at our Admin office at 1790 W. 11th Avenue 2nd floor (or contact us at development@lookingglass.us), from August 1 through August 31.
