The annual Looking Forward, Giving Back auction gala fundraiser was held virtually this year, due to the pandemic, of course, but was a huge success despite the fact that we could not gather physically with supporters. On Saturday, April 10th, Looking Glass fundraising staff members turned the large conference room at administrative offices into a production studio and interacted with over 100 supporters via Zoom and an online auction platform that made for some very competitive and last minute bidding. In the end, donors helped to raise more than $130,000 for Looking Glass youth & family programs (and post-event cleanup was much easier).
During the virtual event, which was hosted by Emcees Mary Reilly and Liz Kelly, Looking Glass shared multiple success stories from different programs. We’re honored to now share those videos here as well for those who could not attend or just want to be inspired again.
Thank you to all of the amazing event sponsors and donors who contributed awesome auction packages despite so many challenges in our business community. And thank you to the donors who contributed cash and purchased auction items in support of our youth! Thank you also to Market of Choice Catering for providing such amazing home-delivered meals to supporters. And thank you to Kelly Lyon Photography for once again producing these amazing videos.
