2022 Giving Tree Program Brings in TONS of GIFTS!

Three staffers from Looking Glass Pathways’ Girls Program show off the bounty of gifts received while a grumpy Santa sulks in nearby chair.

Gifts piled high at the Regional Crisis Center on River Road.

Staff at Looking Glass were unsure how this year’s holiday Giving Tree program was going to go. With inflation impacting everyone and lots of winter illnesses making the rounds, staff had doubts this year would go as well as year’s past. Those doubts were quickly and repeatedly put to rest as all Giving Tree locations poured in more gifts than expected and gifts came in via the mail on a daily basis as well! Each participating program was once again able to spoil youth and family clients who sought support to ensure holiday wishes (and basic needs) were granted. Looking Glass is extremely thankful to the community of amazing donors and the participating tree donation locations!

Thank you to EWEB, Coldwell Banker of Eugene, The Oregon Contemporary Theatre, Umpqua Banks in Eugene and Springfield, Oakway Center and Valley River Center as well as the volunteers at Eugene Active 20/30 Club!

Each program held a holiday party to give away the amazing amounts of gifts and staff had a blast wrapping packages and being able to give these youth a happy holiday.
