A big thank you goes out to Foresters Financial whose local members organized to make a significant in-kind donation to Looking Glass’ Counseling Program of over 100 Self-Care Kits. Our therapists provide these supplies, which included some arts and crafts tools as well as hygiene materials, to our clients to help them relax and process the stress of their lives. With the help of Foresters Financial, we now have a major stock of these kits that can be used for months to come.

Tonja Lindbo, who organized the donation, described why Forester choose Looking Glass to be the beneficiary of a Community Volunteer grant.

“One of our members in our local branch suggested reaching out to Looking Glass.  She was in the Foster System for a few years and Looking Glass had provided assistance and support to her and her family during that time.  As a family and an organization our new goal was to give back to Looking Glass for what was once given to us.”
