UO Kappa Delta Sorority Supports Station 7 with Grilled Cheese Event

On Wednesday November 6th, the Alpha Lambda Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority hosted a Grilled Cheese fundraiser for Station 7 and Prevent Child Abuse America. Serving grilled cheese, tomato soup, and lemonade, to almost 1,000 attendees, the sorority’s house was filled with students and community members enjoying the great food and a great cause.

Since the founding of the Kappa Delta chapter at the University of Oregon, the “Kaydees” have supported Looking Glass’ Station 7. Abi Olson, the VP of Community Service and organizer of the Grilled Cheese event pointed out that all Kappa Delta chapters pick a local youth organization at the time of their founding, and support them in perpetuity. Along with their annual Spring fundraiser, a concert featuring student bands, Kappa Delta has raised over $90,000 for Station 7 since their founding.

Thank you to Kappa Delta and Abi for a great event and for continuing their support for Looking Glass and Station 7.
