Mae Camara, Social Services Assistant Supervisor at RCC East
Each quarter, the members of the Looking Glass Cultural Awareness and Equity Committee (CAEC) review nominations of staff members who have gone above and beyond their job requirements to promote cultural awareness and equity on the job. Nominations come mostly from staff peers. Then the committee randomly selects one nominee to win a $100 gift card. This quarter’s random drawing winner is Mae Camara, Social Services Assistant Supervisor at The Regional Crisis Center (East).
From staff comments about Mae:
"Mae is constantly growing and challenging herself, but a key trait that she has had since arriving at RCC is her care and want to serve these kids. She learns about the youth, and implores others to do what the kids need, not just what is the easiest thing to do."
Looking Glass staff bring culture, identity, and passion into everything they do! Our teams are always growing, pushing forward, and making a meaningful impact through their work. We’re excited to celebrate the incredible effort, experiences, and talents our staff share every day as they continue supporting our clients with dedication and heart!
