Local attorneys Bryon Land and Nicholas Frost, from Hershner Hunter Law Firm in Eugene, presented information about estate planning at an educational seminar for Looking Glass supporters on Friday, August 21st at The Venue in Eugene. The presentation covered many topics from creating a will to the impacts of and limitations with creating a power of attorney and the different types of trusts one should consider.
Attorneys Land and Frost discussed various estate planning scenarios and discussed challenges and pitfalls as well.
Roughly 50 Looking Glass supporters signed up for the complimentary event, which included a light breakfast provided. Estate planning can be quite complex and several attendees thanked the speakers for keeping the information simple enough to digest within the 90-minute presentation.
This event is the first in a planned series of educational and informational events and materials Looking Glass staff intends to continue to provide to supporters and general community members.
