This year’s crop of 20 under 40 “Rising Business Stars” as selected by a panel of judges in collaboration with the Eugene Chamber of Commerce included Looking Glass VP of Homeless Youth Services, Brittany Means-Luna!
Brittany gave a lovely acceptance speech at the celebration, thanking those who have supported her along her career as well as her family and friends.
Means-Luna is a native Oregonian, University of Oregon Family and Human Services graduate. Beginning her career in direct services and as a certified advocate for survivors of violence, she has spent her professional life working alongside young people and community members experiencing crisis to build pathways toward safety, stability, and self-determined success. Today, she focuses on strengthening programs and advancing systems-level change that improves access, equity, and outcomes across the community. Guided by the belief that individuals are the experts of their own lives, she is committed to creating opportunities for people to define and achieve success on their own terms while ensuring they have a direct voice in shaping the services designed to support them.

"She is one of our top leaders and I'm excited to see the continued impact of she’ll have on youth and families throughout the community in the years to come."

Means-Luna has been with Looking Glass since 2019 and has been the VP of Homeless Youth Services since 2023 where she leads over 100 staff while partnering with the executive team to strengthen services, support organizational sustainability, and improve outcomes for youth, young adults, and families experiencing homelessness and instability.
