Timber Products Company donated $3,000 and toured the shop of the Looking Glass Riverfront School & Career Center’s Skilled Trades Program on April 2nd. Three members of Timber Products local staff came to visit the shop and talk with the program manager, Michael Romano, and a few of the current students.

“Empowering the next generation through education is a privilege,” said Timber Products Company Administrative & Facilities Manager Stacey Hughes. “We are honored to support students as they navigate the landscape of the skilled trades program, shaping tomorrow’s leaders one lesson at a time.”

The donated funds will be used for tools and supplies. Timber Products staff also discussed donating materials and products in the future.

The Riverfront School’s Skilled Trades Program is currently working hard on their 2nd tiny house construction project, in collaboration with SquareOne Villages. The first house was built in the summer of 2023 and it went so well, a second project was not far behind.
