For the entire month of July, patrons shopping at the Eugene River Road Grocery Outlet store will have the opportunity to make a donation at the cash register that will help raise funds for Looking Glass programs. For the 7th annual "Feed the Need - Independence from Hunger" fundraiser, which is part of a national effort with each store working with different local nonprofits, local store operator Jake Hoffman decided to include Looking Glass as a beneficiary of this unique and generous program.

"Independence from Hunger is one of the many ways The Eugene Grocery Outlet supports our local community," Hoffman explained. "Our team and our customers come together to raise money in the month of July to fill a void that occurs in the non traditional giving months.  The Eugene Grocery Outlet is proud to work with Looking Glass and is excited for a future relationship."

Participating donors can receive a $5 coupon for a future store visit if they donate at least $5 to the fundraiser. The overall goal for this fundraiser for the month of July is to generate $10,000 in collective donations.

Looking Glass is honored to be a part of this fundraiser and very thankful to Jake and the River Road Grocery Outlet team!
